Q & A with NICK

a. Where are you from?

Born in Chicago, raised in Indiana and live in Wichita, Kansas now.

b. Instagram name

@grunt_fit556

c. What motivates you to train?

Fitness is my passion and I want to be the best possible version of myself.  I want my family and friends to look up to me and be inspired.

d. What’s your greatest success in lifting?

My greatest success so far was last year.  I was at 187 pounds and 5% body fat at the end of my prep.  I did it on my own and only for myself.

e. What music do you listen to when training?

I listen to mostly hard rock when I'm lifting.  Disturbed, Skillet and Hatebreed to name a few.

f. Who is your weightlifting inspiration?

I would have to say Dorian Yates "The Shadow"  is a big inspiration to me. A guy from the streets to Mr. Olympia.  I love his story and could tell he was in it for the bodybuilding and not the glory.

g. Do you have any shout outs or people you’d like to thank?

I would like to thank my wife Jessica for supporting me and sharing this passion with me. My lifting partner Ed "Eazy" Chelby for keeping me mentally in the game.  Also, I would like to thank Supplement Giant for supporting me and I'm proud to be one of their athletes.
