VALEO PADDED LIFTING STRAPS
Valeo offers a decent weightlifting strap.
The Valeo strap works well in the gym. They do what they’re intended to do, they grip well on the bar and give the support needed.
The cotton strap is good quality but is definitely thinner than the lifting straps reviewed above and is a tad narrower than the Rip Toned straps. The material is nice and flexible right out of the box so there is no need for break in with these.
The strap is a couple inches longer than Harbinger and Schiek and just a hair shorter then Rip Toned.
The padding used is a decent quality neoprene. The neoprene is definitely thinner than the top 3 lifting straps. Valeo only do 4 short strips of stitching on the padding along the short side and no stitching along the long edges of the pad or on the inner part. This is a bit of a concern for me as it makes the padding susceptible to tearing or ripping off.
Overall the workmanship is well done with nice attention to detail.
These straps are decent contenders and should work fine but given the other options with the top 3, in all honesty I would not be quick to recommend them to a friend.
Don’t get me wrong these straps will do the trick in the gym but due to the thinner strap and padding they will not have the expected life span of the 3 competitors.
