c. What motivates you to train?
I used to be in a depression and got locked up in jail sadly 5 years ago. Someone showed me calisthenics training and I felt a lot better from exercising and it really put my life back on track. Training has saved my life. In my personal opinion, it's necessary for my well being and I enjoy it, I have broke it down to a science for myself. Weight training has been my source of therapy and when things were tough, it's my escape when I feel like giving up or feel that things are unfair. I remember when I'm in the gym, it's only me and the weights - no one else is gonna pick up that dumbbell for me and give me muscles and newfound confidence, only me. I am responsible for myself.
d. What’s your greatest success in lifting?
Being able to finally squat three 45 plates on each side effectively. With good form. I remember when I couldn't even squat 205.
e. What music do you listen to when training?
BoomBap/Rap/Hiphop/and Jon Bellion on repeat.
f. Who is your weightlifting inspiration?
g. Do you have any shout outs or people you’d like to thank?
I like to thank the multiple amount of bodybuilders who have come to me in the past and motivated me to continue training because they have seen my results and asked if I competed. I wish I had their names but I don't but they definitely inspire me.
