Pre Workout Not Working Anymore

I used Pre workout for 10 years. Grenade, etc. It was an intense experience that lasted many hours. Over the years, there were changes but it remained great.
I stopped using it for almost 2 years. I went out and bought ABE (My fave) and it did zero! Ziltch! Tolerance? Nope! I complained and the store gave me 6 samples which were older stoke because ABE had changed packaging and was slightly different but allegedly the preworkout had not changed. Ok, so, why, when i had the sample did my face and body start to glow red, tingles and an intense energy rush just as it had always done? The carton i bought did NOTHING the next day. I tried another sample and it was perfect!
If anyone says it is tolerance, they clearly assume but without proof. I know for a fact that they no longer produce it the same and it is utter crap no matter what one i take, when, how, where or how much. It no longer causes redness and tingles or a rush. It is now mass produced crap! And pointing that out results in people saying “You’re just used to it”
It is utter crap!
