c. What motivates you to train?
I am a professional Juggler, Magician, and Balloon Guy. At this stage of my life, it’s getting harder to do my 45-minute Comedy Juggling Show! I’m training with yoga, pushups, sit-ups, light weights, and walking for aerobic training. I also offer a Zoom Video Show and am trying to stay in shape for any work that comes from online sources as well.
d. What’s your greatest success in fitness?
My greatest fitness success was discovering the Wim Hof Method 8 months ago. I’ve been doing deep breathing sessions and taking a 3-5 minute Cold Shower every day. Wim is big on pushups as well and according to the App, I’ve cranked out 21,000 pushups in the past 8 months! “Happy, Strong, and Healthy.”
e. What music do you listen to when training?
My musical tastes are all over the spectrum. Rock and Roll for lifting, Fast Beats for Walking, and more Light Jazzy Sounds for Yoga and stretching.
f. Who are your fitness inspiration?
My workout/weightlifting inspiration was initially Arnold and the movie Pumping Iron. Over this past year I discovered David Goggins on YouTube! Talk about a “Serious Attitude Adjustment!” Goggins inspires me to “get after it” every day, no matter what!
g. What are your dreams and/or what excites you?
I’m inspired by that inner pride and energy that comes from building a stronger body. The discipline involved is contagious and bleeds into all areas of my life. In my profession, I bring smiles, laughter, and joy to thousands of people a year. I can attest to the power of looking someone in the eyes and cracking a big, welcoming smile. Living my Life daily, “in the moment,” mindfully.
